Customer Booking Terms
1. The Service
We arrange for a screened, background-checked professional driver to drive your vehicle door-to-door between your northern home and your Florida home on the date you select. Your vehicle travels with a full fuel tank (you provide it full at pickup; we deliver it full), a GPS tracking device aboard, and photo/video condition documentation completed with you at both ends of the trip.
2. Booking and Payment
- Deposit. A deposit of 50% of the quoted price reserves your exact pickup date.
- Balance. The remaining balance is due at pickup, after you and your driver complete the joint vehicle inspection and sign the condition report, and before the trip begins. Nothing is owed at delivery.
- How to pay. We accept Zelle or bank transfer (ACH) — no card fees, no surcharges, and the price you were quoted is the amount you pay. Payment instructions arrive with your booking confirmation, and again the day before pickup.
- What the price covers. Quoted prices include the driver, all route fuel after pickup, and trip logistics — you hand us the car with a full tank and receive it back full. Tolls bill to your own transponder or license plate exactly as when you drive. Add-ons where applicable: $100–150 full-size SUV/pickup surcharge; $75 extended-area fee for homes 25–50 miles from a listed airport.
3. Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling
- By you — early. Cancel 14 or more days before pickup: full refund of your deposit.
- By you — later. Cancel 7–13 days before pickup: refund of half the deposit. Within 7 days of pickup, the deposit is non-refundable, because your driver, flights, and schedule are already committed.
- Rescheduling. One free date change is included with every booking, subject to driver and flight availability, if requested at least 7 days before pickup.
- Weather. If severe weather (including hurricane watches or warnings on the route) makes the trip unsafe, we will work with you to reschedule at no charge.
- By us. If we cancel for any reason other than the vehicle failing the pickup inspection (Section 4), you receive a full refund of everything paid.
4. Vehicle Eligibility and the Pickup Inspection
This service is for vehicles that are ready for a 1,000+ mile highway trip. By booking, you confirm your vehicle:
- Is 7 model years old or newer with fewer than 100,000 miles, currently registered and insured, and has been serviced within the manufacturer's recommended interval;
- Has no active dashboard warning lights, adequate tire tread, no known mechanical issues, and a full fuel tank at handoff.
At pickup, your driver completes a joint walk-around inspection with you. If the vehicle presents a safety concern (for example, warning lights, unsafe tires, or fluid leaks), we may decline the trip. In that case we refund everything paid, less documented non-refundable costs already incurred (such as the driver's travel), up to a maximum retention of $200. If the issue can be resolved same-day, we will attempt to proceed or reschedule instead.
5. Condition Documentation and Claims
- At pickup and delivery, we photograph and video the vehicle and complete a written condition report that you sign. These reports are the record of the vehicle's condition.
- Please inspect your vehicle with the driver at delivery. Any claim of new damage must be noted on the delivery condition report before the driver departs. Damage not noted at delivery is presumed not to have occurred in transit.
- We are responsible for damage caused during transit as documented by the pickup and delivery reports. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, mechanical wear, or failures not caused by the driver.
6. Your Belongings
- Pack as much as you like — that is the point — but everything must be securely packed and kept below the window line for driver visibility.
- Do not include cash, jewelry, firearms, irreplaceable items, or anything illegal or hazardous. Prescription medications should travel with you.
- Belongings travel at your risk. Our responsibility for loss of or damage to belongings inside the vehicle is limited to $250 total; we recommend items of value travel with you by air.
7. Mechanical Issues During Transit
If your vehicle develops a mechanical problem en route, we will contact you immediately and coordinate service. Repairs are authorized by you; we will not approve repairs over $100 without your consent except where required for safety. Costs of mechanical failures arising from the vehicle's condition (rather than driver fault) are your responsibility, including any resulting delay costs. This is why Section 4's service requirements exist — well-maintained vehicles make uneventful trips.
8. Timing and Delays
Trips are scheduled for delivery within the window in your booking confirmation (typically two days). Weather, traffic, and road conditions can extend transit; your driver's check-ins and the GPS link keep you informed in real time, and we will notify you promptly of any delay of two hours or more. We are not liable for indirect or consequential costs arising from delay (for example, missed appointments).
9. Tracking and Privacy
A small GPS device is placed in the vehicle for the duration of the trip for security, and your driver shares live location during transit. Trip records, photos, and your contact details are used only to perform and document your trip and are not sold or shared for marketing.
10. Insurance and Liability
- We maintain commercial insurance covering the vehicle while in our care, custody, and control during the trip. You agree to keep your own registration and insurance current through the trip dates.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from a trip is limited to the greater of the price you paid for that trip or amounts actually recovered under our applicable insurance.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. General
- These Terms plus your booking confirmation are the entire agreement for your trip. Florida law governs; venue is Lee County, Florida. Disputes go first to good-faith negotiation and mediation before litigation.
- If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. We may update these Terms for future bookings; the version in effect when you pay your deposit applies to your trip.
